App Version: Lightroom Classic 12.01

Platform and OS Version: Desktop with Windows 10

The Problem: If I click on "Lightroom Classic Help" within the Help dropdown menu, I expected to see help information appear. Instead, I get the following error message: "Cannot display help." The same issue occurs when I try to access contextual help within the dropdown menu, for example, "Library Module Help" or "Develop Module Help", etc. The other items in the dropdown menu, such as "Lightroom Classic Tutorial" or "Library Module Tips", work fine.

What I Have Tried So Far:  I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling, but this did not fix the issue.

Thanks for any help anyone can provided.

Not really an answer to your question, but a workaround: here's the link, bookmark it so you can get to it easily in the future.

Try resetting LR's preferences:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

Thanks very much djpaige and johnrellis for the suggestions. I tried resetting the Lightroom preferences file -- first by using the "On Starting Lightroom" method, and then by using the "Manually" method. Both methods did reset the preferences file, but unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue. So I will just rely on the online user guide.
