Is this a question about Lightroom-Classic?

Are you asking about the 'magnifying glass' cursor that appears in Loupe and Develop modes?

Have you tried a reset of the Preferences file?  PREFERENCES RESET 

 

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 14.3, Photoshop 26.6, ACR 17.3, Lightroom 8.3, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 15.0.4 .
