Hello,

The environment.

MAC, newest OS, LrC, newest version, Synology all updates are also made.

On the discstation there is a folder called: [discstation]/photos

This was mapped on a Windows-based system within LrC

The catalog was moved from windows to the mac.

The link to the mapped folder a discstation appears, but there is no connection.

Other folder than photos on Synology are working.

I don't need the photos folder attached to LrC, I like to delete them, but it doesn't work, moreover a relink doesn't work as well.
Error Message "invalid path".

Is there a way, to delete this file in some config files, or what could I do?

Thanks for any comments.

Matthias

I found a solution, but this is not the perfect answer.

I switched from a Windows to a Mac system.

In the Windows world, I had 3 links to a Synology DiskStation. I had linked two paths via a drive letter and the third via a UNC path.

So the 2 were as follows: <Drive letter>:\directory...
UNC: \\<computer name>\<shared directory>\

This UNC path is not readable under Mac, at least I don't know it.
And at this point LrC exits. It appears in the catalog, but a new link is rejected with the message "wrong

You tried to relink, I take that you tried to update the folder location. As you do not need the photos in the LrC catalog, have tried to simply remove the folder?

here you see the linked folders are green. They are okay.

The folder who is highlighted, with the root above, couldn't be deleted.

Thank you

The three dots are only there, without any function. Furthermore, removing on any deeper level of the tree has now success.

My solution: I loaded the catalog on my old computer, deleted it under Windows and linked it again under MAC.
