Copy and Paste in Lightroom

Explorer ,
Aug 22, 2018 Aug 22, 2018

I've noticed for awhile, at least a year that when I try to copy my settings to paste on my next image, it doesn't copy every time. I'll change a small setting and then copy, and then paste to the next image and it pastes the setting that I used two settings ago.  This is super aggravating.  I'm using the most updated LR on CC, not sure what other info that you need.  I even have a new computer so it must be a software glitch?

Have you made sure that all the boxes in the copy dialog are definitely set?

If I'm pasting from one photo to the next, I find Previous is faster than Copy/Paste.

Yes its not boxes that aren't copying, they are, its just the copy isn't "updating" with the new settings I'm trying to copy.  I don't use previous because I edit while I cull, so it will just paste the zero settings that were on the previous photo because I didn't choose it therefore didn't edit it.  But thank you!

What happens if you do it with the GPU off?

Had you previously applied Auto toning to some or all of the photos?

That's a good call johnrellis, it also reminds me that if White Balance is set to As Shot, the numbers don't copy. You need to set the start photo to Custom to have the temp & tint numbers copy.
