This concerns Lightroom Classic 12.5.
I have photos in a folder on my hard disk and following a Lightroom catalog crash, the number of photos in the Lightroom catalog folder is no longer the same: I'm missing previews.
Of course, when I try to resynchronize the folder, LR finds the missing files but refuses to reintegrate them.
I've attached the step-by-step photos.
Photo 1 : shows how many pictures in my lightroom folder : 6
Photo 2 : I right-clic on the folder > sync folder : LR found 17 missing photos.
Photo 3 : "New photos" : nothing is found there.
Photo 4 : if i click on "all the photos" : it shows the missing files but cannot import them
Photo 5 : I tryed to create a new LR catalog and import the datas from the previous catalog > unknow error...
What can i do then ? I really cannot say... I got so many folders with missing photos (that are really present inside the windows folder ! but not in the LR folder...
Thank you for your help

Typically this happens because you have already imported the photos into Lightroom Classic, and you had (accidentally?) set the Import option to copy. So LrC knows where the copy is, the copy is in a different folder than the one you are looking at. You should not import again. Instead, try to find the photo(s) in LrC by following all four of these steps in order:
1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar
Report back what you find.

Thank you for your response ; yes LR consider these files already imported : the are in the same folder but the LR database doesn't want to make them reappear.
When i search for a file number like "9967" which is one of the "missing" pictures : LR doesn't success in showing the actual windows folder where it is located ; when i try to sync the folder : the file is in grey and when i put the mouse on the file it says "the file is already imported"
Is there a way to re-built the database with the missing miniatures ? without them i can't work with the files.
For now the only solution i'm thinking of is building a brand new database but i'm going to lose days, weeks of settings of all the other pictures in LR...

I can't view file attachments in my web browser. You need to include screen captures by clicking on the "Insert Photos" icon.
When i search for a file number like "9967" which is one of the "missing" pictures
Please clarify what search you did. Did you follow ALL FOUR steps I provided?
LR doesn't success in showing the actual windows folder where it is located
You don't say what does happen. We need to know what you actually see when you do this search. If what I think happened is what actually happened, then that's right, Lightroom Classic will not show the photos in the folder where you see it, Lightroom Classic should show the photos in the folder where Lightroom Classic thinks the photo is located, which is different than the one you think the photo is located in. Is that what you see when you do the full search as I explained? If so we can fix this. Please be specific and detailed about exactly what you did and what you see.

Thank you for your help.
When I've followed the first 3 steps and enter the 4th, i.e. enter a photo number (9967) in the search field belonging to the file name in my folder, the search result doesn't show any folder where this file is located; for LR my photo whose name includes "9967" doesn't exist. But this photo is actually in my folder in Windows Explorer, and it's the same folder path in LR. When
I ask LR to display "all photos" (whether or not they've been imported), my photo appears, but grayed out: everything I'm telling you has been captured, and the captures can be read by clicking on them...
I put them again here :

Update : I copied the 2 important files of LR catalog in an "OLD" folder and i extract the 2 backups files : of course everything is now synchronized correctly except that i lost 1 week of work ... 😕 Thanks anyway for your proposal
