Corruption on my IPad

So it is not Lightroom, but rather it seems like it does something to it. I currently use a Nikon D3100 from 2011. Whenever I shoot in raw, and import the photo (in files) to photos directly, does not work. Whenever I put it through Lightroom it works. Is there a way to fix this? The reason I got premium was to edit in raw. I import with my Sd reader, and iPad.

If the problem is importing into Photos, those of us here in the Adobe forums can't help you, Photos is made by Apple.

If you want to edit in RAW on the Ipad then totally avoid Apple Photos and always use just Lightroom Mobile and then use SYNC with Lightroom or Classic or just Export as DNG from Lightroom Mobile and Import into Classic if you want to avoid the Cloud as I do.

Thanks for this information! The only issue is that I can only send 50 at a
time. I lost abt 40 photos yesterday

Only send 50 where?  Importing? Syncing? Exporting?
