I've used Lightroom Classic for years, then all of a sudden, the crop feature doesn't work. I cannot get my mouse to connect to the dashes on the side of the photo and pull the picture in, or move the corners symbols and pull them in. Any help will be appreciated. Kent

I started having the same problem with the last version. With the new version it's even worse. LR becomes unresponsive, and simply unusable. Shutting down the program and restarting it has helped some, but it keeps popping up. I have an 11th Gen i7, 32 GB of RAM, and lots of fast M.2 storage, as well as a 3060 graphics card. It may be tied to having multiple masks in effect, that's when I see it most often.

Troubleshooting steps:
1. Try resetting LR's preferences, as recommended by @JohanElzenga:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/
LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
2. Try updating your graphics driver by going directly to the manufacturer's web site:

If that doesn't help, please copy/paste here the entire contents of the LR menu command Help > System Info -- that will let us see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.
