It seems since the latest upgrade when after cropping an image, when you go to crop another image it reverts back to the previous image. It does this for any image you want to crop.
I have the latest lightroom classic upgraded.
Video drivers are up to date.
Use graqphics processor is off. (It is grayed out and states it's due to an error)

First, restart your computer. If the problem persists, try resetting LR's preferences:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/
LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

Resetting Preferences did nothing. The problem is still there.

I also just noticed that when it reverts back to the original cropped image, if you try to resize the image it shows the Aspect Ratio Tool only.

@robertv47531707 , I would like to test this on my Windows laptop, please confirm you are using Lightroom Classic 13.5.
Just a thought while using crop in the Develop module and the tool is activated you cannot navigate from the image until you close the crop tool.

If so I can confirm it's not repeatable on my system. It works as designed.

Hmm, in past instances of similar symptoms with the Crop tool, resetting preferences fixed the issue.
"Use graphics processor is off. (It is grayed out and states it's due to an error)"
To address this issue, try deleting the file "Camera Raw GPU Config.txt" as detailed here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-3
That will cause LR to reevaluate the capabilities of your GPU. I
f that doesn't help, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

@Simon28043222o3uf: "I have same issue."
The original post discusses two issues, weird behavior with the Crop tool and the GPU getting disabled automatically. Which of those two are "the same" for you?
Your System Info shows your GPU getting disabled automatically:
"Init State: GPU disconnected"

That will cause LR to reevaluate the capabilities of your GPU. After you do that, does it get disabled again?

Graphics Processor Info:
DirectX: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT (32.0.11029.1008)
Init State: GPU disconnected
User Preference: Auto
Enable HDR in Library: OFF
Something is not correct in how your copy of LrC is handling your GPU.
First see:
and:
Also, that GPU Driver, Windows Store version 32.0.11029.1008, I suspect a slightly newer one exists, 32.0.11037.4003. Yo may want to update that.
Have you considered resetting the preferences file?
he preference file can get corrupted, leading to all sorts of odd behavior. Resetting the preference file is basically deleting the preference file (or relocating), and restarting LrC, whereupon LrC will recreate the preferences file. The preference file keeps track of all sorts of things, not just the preferences settings. Note that a side effect of doing this may/will return preference settings to defaults. Carefully read the following references.
It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:
One additional observation:
Library Path: D:\My Data\OneDrive\Pictures\Lightroom\Lightroom Catalog-v13-3.lrcat
Some debate if the presence of OneDrive in the Library Path indicates the catalog is actually on OneDrive instead of actually on the hard drive, or if that just indicates that the catalog is being automatically sync'd to OneDrive. Either is bad. Either can effect LrC performance, Either is not recommend.
In the case of sync to OneDrive, that will slow LrC performance down, as each and every edit, or even the thought of an edit will sync to OneDedrive. And as LrC is a parametric editor, each edit is compounded on that the sync will include each and every edit history state that proceeds the latest edit. It would be far better to relocate that catalog to a folder that is nor associated with OneDrive. This occurs because you have and use an MS account to log on to your Windows PC as opposed to a local account. Basically MS got pushy and forced that upon you. Their are lots of videos on the web describing how to avoid that, how to fix that.
For now, you could create a folder on one of your hard drives. Name that folder anything you like, perhaps MyPhotography, Lightroom, Rumpelstiltskin, anything other than Pictures. Ad move your catalog to that folder. Some of the System Folders (Librarys) that OneDrive gets associated with are Pictures, Documents, Desktop, Downloads, Videos.
