Bonjour

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

The DDE containing the originals of the photos crashed. So I can see my photos on LR classic but I can't work on them anymore, the link being broken.
I have on other DDEs the originals of my images. Is there a way to re-import these images so that LR recognizes the originals and I can retrieve the work done on these photos?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Have a good day everyone

First of all, do not re-import!!
If you do that, LrC will see them as new photos, and your edits and other metadata will not be associated with them.
The best thing to do is to copy all the images from the different external disks to a single disk (using the Windows File Explorer or the Mac finder), with the same folder structure as on the disk that crashed.
Then in Lrc Library, right click the topmost folder in the Folders panel, and direct LrC to the new disk.
This will be even easier if you have a backup of the disk that crashed, simply copy the backup to a different disk.

Considering the context, I'm pretty sure it's Disque Dur Externe - External hard disk.
