Delay in seeing updates in develop

Version 13.2  is running so slow it's unusable. If i do anything in develop mode I get the spinnig beach ball, or a super long delay befopre seeing the actions of what I'm doing.

For example, if I drag my exposure slider down, I click on it with my mouse to drag, but I don't physically see the slider move to the left unill about 6 seconds after the inital draging of my mouse.

Same with masks.  I can drag out a linerar gradient and it takes about 6 seconds befiore I see the mask appear.

How do I fix this?  What a bummer!

Your GPU may have been locked off during a self test when upgraded to 13.2 or macOS updates. You can reset it by using the following steps.

  1. Quit Lightroom Classic.

  2. Locate the Camera Raw GPU Config.txt file.

    • (macOS) /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/GPU/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic/Camera Raw GPU Config.txt

On macOS, the user Library folder is hidden by default in macOS X 10.7 and later releases. Use the directions here.

    3. Manually delete the Camera Raw GPU Config.txt file.

    4. Relaunch Lightroom Classic.
