Delayed response moving basic sliders with mouse (instant with keyboard)

Hi

When using some of sliders in Lightroom Classic (e.g. temperature), the changes to the image are significantly delayed. But they are instant when I'm using keyboard.

This looks like a kind of bug, because I see GPU load while the image is not changing. When using keyboard, there is similar load on GPU, but changes are instant.

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix or workaround?

I recorded screen to make it easier to understand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90lQDo-eksk

Video demonstrates this on 24Mpix file, Win11, LrC 13.3, HW: i7-12700F, 32GB, NVidia 3060 12GB.

First up, this may have nothing to do with your slider issue, but your default setting of 5 GB for Camera RAW, Well it sucks. Even Adobe state the default is too small, Even Adobe states to increase it to at least 20 GB.

This WILL effect performance in the Develop Module, it will not effect the Library module

P.S. check your NVIDIA RTX 3060 driver, looks like v552.22? Over at NVIDIA they show Studio driver currently at v555.85. I doubt the GPU driver has anything to do with the slider issue.

Thanks for the tip with cache size.

To isolate this issue I have created new catalog with only one image, so I think cache size wasn't issue.

I updated the driver too.

I've seen this issue for long time, on multpiple Windows computers. It just got more pronounced on 4K monitor so I decided to ask.

I spent more than hour with a tech support yesterday. They tried to resolve this on my computer and then promised to consult this with engineering team.

Would be nice if LrC could get little smoother and better utulize hardware.
