I am working on a book in the LR Book module and when I try to delete a photo from the book page it only removes it from that page and puts it into the filmstrip.  When I go to the filmstrip to delete it the popup is grayed out.  In the past I was able to delete a photo from the book and got a popup that allowed me to select from catalogue or disk.  Now I get neither.  I could also delete from the filmstrip but now that option is greyed out.  I have restarted LR and my computer but still cannot delete as in the past.  If I go to the Library Module, I am able to delete any photo as in the past.  Any suggestions for this issue would be welcomed.

You should be able to [Right-Click] on the Filmstrip image and [Remove from Collection].

But- You will NOT see the [Remove from Collection] menu if you started the Book from a FOLDER, as a Collection has not yet been created. You must click the tab [Create a Saved Book] which then makes a 'Book' Collection that stores (saves) your book design, and the photos you are using for the Book.

The Book Collection will then allow you to Remove photos on the Filmstrip.

Keyboard [G] will take you to Library Grid view of a Book Collection.

Keyboard [Ctrl+Alt +4] will return to the Book Module.
