Develop and Library windows - keep getting stuck in one window

When in lightroom, it keeps bouncing back to "A" and doesn't stay in "B".  What can I do to fix this please? I did just install a new monitor, but that's the only new thing I have messed with lately. TIA! I am on a mac and swapped out monitors to a Benq.

"A" is the secondary display window. This probably happened when you swapped the monitors. Move this window to the second monitor (and make it stick there by setting secondary display view to 'full screen'), or disable the secondary display.

If this is your secondary Lrc window not remaining on a different monitor than the main LrC window - this has to do in my experience, with maximising that secondary window. Once you've done that, even if you later reduce it again during this session, it seems to "stick" where you've put it.

The circumstance previously raised here was that invoking "Lights Out" mode caused the secondary window to jump back onto the primary display, but only if this secondary window had only ever been a floating one, since first opened. Once it has been maximised, will no longer jump - it seems.

If you cannot move the window, choose Window > Secondary Display > Show to disable the Show command. That should hide the secondary display window, revealing the main Lightroom Classic application window with the familiar panels.

If later you work with two displays connected, go into Lightroom Classic preferences, click the Display tab, and select a different display for the secondary window so that it no longer appears on top of the main application window.
