If I understand you correctly, this is just referring to the normal global adjustments - that one might use with any kind of image, such as Exposure and Contrast etc.
At the top panel of the interface, right side, you should see a module selector Library / Develop / other options. If this top panel is not showing, look for a downward pointing triangular arrow in the middle of the screen to open that. Otherwise you can press D key shortcut to go straight to Develop module (all these titles may be different in non-English language localised software).
Within Develop the standard right side panel should show an adjustments section titled Basic plus other sections below, e.g. Tone Curve. If this right side panel is not showing at all, there is an arrow button in the middle of the right side of the screen to open that again.
It is possible that this whole panel is showing, but the Basic panel is hidden within it: if so, right-click on one of the panel titles that do show, choose "Customise Develop Panel" if present, then click to put a checkmark next to 'Basic'.
There are some keyboard shortcuts controlling the different bits of the software's layout. Perhaps you have accidentally pressed e.g. Tab key to temporarily hide the left and right panels. If so, you would press Tab key again to open them up again. Or use the arrow buttons as described above.
These panels might also have been set to auto-hide. In that case they will close themselves down to a narrow bar after each use, until you hover the mouse over that bar so they open again temporarily. Clicking on the triangular button will remove this auto-hide behaviour so that they then stay open / stay closed as you dictate.
