Hey, @Karl J. Ebensberger. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. Thanks for sharing the system info. Could you include a short video or a series of screenshots?
Does this happen after a series of steps or specific edits? Are you working on JPEG or RAW files?
Try this:
Go to Lightroom Classic on the main menu> Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it to Off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://adobe.ly/3uYiJo4
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hey Sameer,
thank you for the quick answer and the tip.
I always work with raw files.
A screenshot is simple. You see all the Windows an Widgets of LRC, but in the middle a black square instead of the picture. If I switch dehaze to 0, the picture appeares again.
Sometimes I work the whole day without any trouble, sometimes it appears after an hour or so.
Switch off the Mac and let it take a break is helpful.
I keep you informed.
Thanks again.
Karl

I set the graphics prosessor off and it helped. Is it ok to be off or do I need to know when to set in On again?

@Karl J. Ebensberger: "Metal: AMD Radeon Pro 5500M"
Mac OS 14.4.1 / AMD released a buggy graphics driver for the Radeon 500- and 5000-series graphics processors that screwed many LR users for many months:
Many reported that updating to Mac OS 15 fixed their issues. But perhaps you're encountering another recently introduced bug. The Radeon Pro 5500M is a five-year-old graphics processor, and it's entirely possible that it's not a priority for Apple and AMD to fix bugs on older Intel / AMD Macs. On Windows, you'd be able to download the most recent driver directly from AMD, but that's not the Apple way. (I use Macs.)
With the Mac OS 14.4.1 bug, many reported that setting Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Off worked around the issue. Whether that causes an annoying slowth in performance will depend on your hardware and the kinds of edits you're doing.
