Exporting Images: File Settings and Image Sizes

I am trying to export some images to my desktop to then pass on for inclusion in social media or a website.

Please can someone offer some assistance as to what settings I need to choose for File Settings and Image Sizing?

Yes, you are correct. The only reason I suggested a PPI setting is so that the user can approximate how large the image will be on the website. The PPI setting itself has no bearing.
