After the latest update today, even when I'm just browsing through images, the CPU temps go as high as 85°C. This never happened before even at full load when generating smart previews or doing some other high-intensity CPU work. Is anybody else experiencing this behavior?

Could be that your cooling system is malfunctioning somehow. Fans not blowing, or coolant not circulating, dust build-up in the case, case vents blocked somehow. Have you checked these things?

Update of what? What is the version number you have now?

You should really check the cooling system. It is there to prevent heat buildup in the case. If you are getting temperatures of 85C, then I would think by definition the cooling system has failed its primary (and only) task.
