I am having an issue with Lightroom CC V7.3 where photos will appear to have very heavy green/pink fringing at fit to window resolutions but when you zoom in they disappear. Very annoying. Why does Lr do this and can I fix it?

Is it like Chromatic Aberration isn't being applied where you can test by turning off Lens Corrections and see if you see it all the time, not just Fit view?

Try changing the Standard Preview size in the Catalog Settings and File Handling:

LR may be trying to optimize performance by not applying every setting to smaller-sized previews, and changing the preview size might change how things work, there, but it could also be something else like a video card rendering problem or corrupted previews.
