How do I get dust spots to automatically remove on each photo?

Hello,

I have a question about removing the dust spots from my shots.

I know about spot removal, which I use. I was just wondering how I get my dust spots removed from the picture without me have to fool with it.

I understand how to remove it on 1 photo, but I want those edits to go on each photo (dust spot removal)

Cheers,

Jacob

If all the photos are full-frame (ie. not cropped) the easiest way is-

1) In the Develop module, on the filmstrip select the photos you want to Spot,

2) Flick the switch beside the [Sync] button to show [Auto Sync]

3) Use the Spot removal brush to remove all the dust spots, and click [Done]

4) Switch [Auto Sync] off.

5) You may still need to inspect each photo to check that a 'copied' spot brush has not destroyed some important detail in the photo.

Again- using full-frame photos, I have heard of using a "Master" image that can be re-used multiple times- a blank page of paper shot at small aperture (Spots become easily visible).

Then use this image to Copy and Paste the Spot brushing with "Spot Removal" the only item checked in the Copy dialog.
