How to change the cover photo of a folder in lightroom classic

It seems by default light room classic uses the first photo in the folder for the folder thumbnail cover when hovering over folders. Is there a way to change the thumbnail preview for a specific folder to better identify whats in the folder?

If you are referring to the Navigator panel in the Library module, then- No.

Except if you use a Custom Sort order for a folder and drag an image to be "first" in the Grid.

Or rename one file that will sort by Filename, if you set the sort that way.

Yes, hard to believe it is not possible for folders as it is already possible for collections... Please Adobe, implement that in the next update!
