How to create a keystroke shortcut for File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI in LRc

New Here ,

I now use Topaz Photo AI regularly in my LRc workflow.  It is painful to have to click on File > Plug-in Extras  > Process with Topaz Photo AI each and every time I am editing a significant number of images.  I understand that one cannot create a keystroke shortcut in LRc and am told I should do this outside of LRc.  I have researched and tried this within the MAC OS capabilities  doing the followingL  Apple > System Settings > Keystrokes > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts.  LRc is not listed as one of the apps one can choose on the pull-down for All Applications, but by scrolling to Other, I can locate LRc.  From there I create a keyboard shortcut - and I tried many - and none seem to work.

Has anyone done this successfully?  If so - how?

It's only for plugin extras menus. It's not so obvious, but they do contain three spaces in front of their name:

You can indeed do this in MacOS System Settings - Keyboard shortcuts, but you have to add three spaces in front of the menu name.

Thank you John.  May I ask you to be explicit as to where these ... should be placed.  Please see my attached file for what I just did - and this still does not work for me.  Is the text string for the menu item correct?  Are there other steps - like rebooting, etc.?

Not three dots, three spaces. I corrected that in my message, but apparently you did not see that.

John - would 3 spaces be needed for other keyboard shortcuts - or is it 3 because of the nesting of this particular command?

I tried to get this mac keyboard shortcut to work...unsuccessfully. I don't understand where to put the three blanks in the sequence. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sequence? You simply place the three spaces in front of the menu name. The whole procedure itself is described in the first message.

I'm sorry if I'm being slow here. I'm new to mac OS. Thanks for your patience.

I have this in the App Shortcuts Menu:

File>Plug-in Extras>Process with Topaz Photo AI

Where do the 3 spaces go?

The menu name should not be 'File>plug-in Extras>Process with Topaz Photo AI', but just "   Process with Topaz Photo AI" (note the three spaces at the beginning).

I have the same question, but using LrC with Window 11. Thank you, in advance!

@gwinters2128: "using LrC with Window 11"

If your "same question" is how to make a keyboard shortcut to the menu command File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI: You can use Autohotkey, a free, widely used utility that's robust but a little geeky to use.
