If I purchase Lightroom for my MacBook, can I cancel my Lightroom mobile for my iPad ?

I currently have a subscription to Lightroom mobile and edit photos on an iPad. I’m looking to get Lightroom for editing on my MacBook now, but I still want to be able to edit on my iPad as usual. Do I have to have two separate subscriptions in order to still have all the same functions? Do I lose any editing tools if I cancel my mobile version, which is already a bit limited?

The subscription for desktop computers covers everything, so you can cancel the mobile subscription. Make sure you use the same account!

Thanks.
I read somewhere that I might lose some of the functions on the mobile version.  Is there any truth to that ?
Can I assume that if I keep the same account I will won't lose all of my cloud storage and previous editing etc?

No, there is no truth to that in any way.

Yes. Everything that is stored in the cloud will still be there as long as you do not change accounts.
