Images lose all settings in LR after being sent to Photoshop

New Here ,

Hey everybody,

Here is a video walkthrough of the issue below.

When I send two photos as layers to Photoshop, one of the photos will lose all of its settings in Lightroom. No more ratings, no more exposure settings, no more masks, nothing. This has been happening for the last week.

What gives?

Lightroom 14.5.1

Photoshop Beta 27.0.0

macOS Tahoe 26.0.1

Every year around this time we see the same thing. People upgrade MacOS (often already when MacOS is still a public beta) when there is no officially supported version of Lightroom Classic for it. And then they complain when they find that there are incompatibilities. The version of Photoshop you use is a beta version, so there are no guarantees for that either. Wait till Adobe releases the next, MacOS 26 compatible, version of Lightroom Classic, or accept that you may run into problems like these.
