Imported Preset and Lens Correction

Hello. I am semi-new to editing photos in Lightroom Classic.

My camera setup is a Panasonic Lumix S5IIX with a Sigma 24-70 DG DN Art. When I import photos the lens correction is automatically set to the Panasonic version of the 24-70mm and no the correct Sigma lens. Is there a way that I can correct this on import? I understand that I can manually change one photo and the copy and paste the setting but it would be convinient to not have to do that.

My next issue is when I use an imorted preset Lightroom changes my lens correction from the Sigma setting, that I canged manually, back to the Pansonic lens correction setting. Why is that and is there anything I can do to change this?

I have went through the preferences and can't seem to find what to change. Not saying it isn't there or obvious to someone with experience. I have also tried google searches to find an answer but to no avail.

I am using a Macbook Pro 14 M1.

If anymore information is needed or if my question isn't clear I will try to find another way to ask.

Thank you to everyone in advance.

Make a manual correction of the lens, then click on 'Setup' and save this as new lens profile default. From now on Lightroom Classic should see the correct lens.
