Importing photo problem

New Here ,
Apr 20, 2025 Apr 20, 2025

I store my photos on an external drive (D).  When I import, I select the the 2025 folder in the D drive as the destination, but the photos are still imported to the C drive.  What am I doing wrong?

Bob, I found the cause of the problem.  The "To" in Imports was going to the C drive.  I erased all paths and put in the correct path.

This is the Import dialog box of Lightroom Classic. I don't use Lightroom, but you can look for it on the Import dialog box.
