On Macs for some time now, screens have been changing places and roles.
The two screens overlap on top of each other on my Macbook Pro, which should be the secondary display hiding the main screen.
When I manage to separate them, what should be the primary screen (the Mac) switches to the secondary screen, and vice versa.
How do we fix this once and for all?

You can choose what monitor to use for the secondary window in Preferences > Display.

I do this, of course but it fixes it only temporarily, then bugs again

Try resetting the preferences.

Thank you. I'll try that even if I've always been afraid to touch this.

Thank you to everybody for their support and attention.
I've tried Per's advice to reset Preference. For the moment it looks stable again, even if it sets itself in a separate "Spaces" which I don't like much but it's more a Mac issue than Adobe's, even if I decided to stay on Lr 12.05 as I don't like a lot of things in 13.0.1
