1. I have a new HP Envy notebook running Windows 10
2. When I use 'Adobe Lightroom Classic' the cursor jumps around at random..for example..If I hover or use the adjustment brush the cursor jumps all the way to the left causing me to make an error, or if I move the sliders it will jump to the left causing me to make an error. It happens even when I'm not using it or touching anything..it will jump to the upper left of the screen.
3. This issue does not happen with any other Adobe program I use not even 'Photoshop' nor any other non-Adobe programs.
I have been searching for a solution for 2 years..ive tried to just ignore it but it's affecting my work.
Thank You.

Just on a hunch, try disabling the touchpad to see if that makes a difference.

And you have tried a different mouse?

Ahh, trackpad, Not your issue, but never ever been able to use a trackpad for anything, nothing to do with programs, everything to do with dexterity
So a different criteria to study.
Have you tried resetting your preferences file (as in delegating it and letting LR create a new one)

Ok, good news (so far) ..I checked out that video and reset my Lightroom preferences. And no jumping has occurred. I'll do some editing in the morning and let you know if it's still good. Yo, I truly appreciate your help sir!

The jumping is not as frequent as it was before, I'm able to edit photos and move about the program without it suddenly jumping to the left. The issue isnt 100% corrected BUT its drastically better than it was prior to the reset.

Should have led off with, if you have enabled use of graphics acceleration in preference/performance, turn that off and see if that works.

Turned off the Graphics Acceleration...It seemed better for a sec but the Jumps continue.

You stated a new computer, and you apparently stated having the issue for two years, so does this problem predate the new computer? We’re you using a trackpad on an older computer, and had the same problem?

I primarily used Lightroom on a work desktop and Mobile App. No jumping issues there... I've only experienced this issue on the new machine.

You’ve posted to an ancient thread. It is highly unlikely that the issue described in this thread, though not impossible, is the same one you are currently experiencing. Rather than resurrect an old thread that is seemingly similar, you are better off posting to a new thread with fresh, complete information, including system information, a complete description of the problem, and step-by-step instructions for reproduction.
If the issue is the same, we will merge you back into the appropriate location.
Thank you!
