Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14AHP9

New Here ,
Mar 04, 2025 Mar 04, 2025

AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS

14" OLED 2880 × 1800 120Hz

RAM 16GB LPDDR5x

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB 60 W

SSD 1000GB

Could it handle lightroom, especially the new AI stuff?
Any other experiences?

I do not want to go for apple, it will be used as a hobby only, not professional use., few hours during the weekend.

So most of the time, culling photos, do some small fixes, no photoshop, running denoise.

Eventually propose other laptop under 1000 EUR

Hey, @martinp41175025. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll try to help you decide. As a baseline, refer to the Photoshop System requirements page: https://adobe.ly/3CDIUEa

Consider using a GPU with an average of 2000 operating per second or higher. You can check this on PassMark's benchmark: https://adobe.ly/3CF3i7X

In this case, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 (Laptop) stands at about 3800+ compute score. This conversation is from 2 years ago, and you will find a lot of input from experts and legends of our community: https://adobe.ly/41HYZm8

Also, please feel free to check independent reviews & productivity benchmarks of whichever device you buy.

I hope this helps. Thanks!
Sameer K
