Lens profiles vanished after last update - linked to Camera Raw update?

For reasons that make no sense, in the last few days Lightroom dropped almost all the scores of varied Nikon glass options. I used to have to scroll for ages for some of my lenses but now there's only 8 lenses left in there. Are they actually dropped or has the install just looked at an old table of data? !

Did an extra reboot and this time it's all back. 

It took three restarts to show the full lens list again.

It looks like the first image is a processed and saved RGB file, jpg or tiff, and the second is Raw, NEF or DNG.

All the RAW files had been doing that.
