Lightroom 5 migration crashing on Mac Mini M2

Hello!

I have just migrated my Lightroom 5 app from my MacBook Pro to my Mac Mini M2 (Sonoma 14.2.1). The app opens but any time I try to do something, it crashes. I searched the forum to reinstall Lightroom 5, but that has not worked. I noticed that the Application is Intel, but it doesn't open in Rosetta 2 (as I've read in other forums).

I don't want to purchase a subscription when I use Lightroom on a casual basis as a hobby. My Macbook is also getting old, 2015, so I was hoping to be able to use this new computer as my main photo-editting tool.

I'm not very tech savvy. I called Adobe but they said they don't provide support for Lightroom 5 and I had to rely on this forum.

Lightroom 5 is old and unsupported. You cannot file a bug report for an old and unsupported app, so I moved this to Discussions. This is also my answer. You can't expect very old software to keep working on the latest computers and the latest version of MacOS. It's time to look at one of the Adobe subscription plans.
