Lightroom 5 problem loading and updating new computer

Hi

I just got a new computer and am trying to load Lightroom 5 

I have my original disc and my original serial number

I cant seem to download it

I fill out the form and when I try to get the upgrade or register it it will not register or upgrade

I have an adobe account

Lightroom 5 is more than 10 years old and unsupported for years now.

Anyhow, if you have the disc, there is nothing to download. Registering is not possible anymore either as these servers are not running anymore.

With lots of luck, you are able to install and use it without registering. I don't remember if v5 needs activation. If yes, you're out of luck, as these servers — as far as I know — are also not running anymore.

If the problem is that you cannot update LR 5 to the latest version, you can download version 5.7.1 from this page:

LR 5 doesn't use activation, you only need a valid serial number. There is no need to register.

Just be aware that Lr5 might well be a dog to get working on Windows 11 (if it works at all, which is far from certain) - and there will be no Adobe support if you can't.
