Im still using Lightroom 6 to edit family stuff and after getting a new Nikon D7500 I have discovered LR6 will not recognize the RAW images. I have researched in many places and some folks say I can simply update my LR6 with an update that available out there somewhere, I can't find it and Adobe's version of live chat is an AI so thatis not helpful. Can anyone help with this issue and point me in the right direction to an update? I'm not looking to upgrade to LRCC at this moment.

The D7500 is supported by Lightroom (pre-classic) 6.12 and later. You can download 6.14 from this location: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/lightroom-6-end-of-support.html
BTW: Lightroom hasn't had a product called "CC" for several years.

Thank you. By downloading the 6.12 you provided, will it update what I have or is it a all new download all together?

Your link downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud and when it tries to log me in it just spins. Sorry to be a pain, this just isn't looking like a seemless process.

Check your hardware before considering an upgrade. System minimum specifications have changed much since the 6.14 days. Without knowing your hardware, I wouldn't make a specific recommendation.
