Hello ,
I am the owner of a Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 that I did not use for years. Presently I am taking photographies lessons in a french school. They are asking us to work with Lightroom. So my question is : is it possible to update my old version ?
I tried but it is not possible to dowloaded Lightroom on my new computer with the DVD bought around 5 or 6 years ago.
Tanks in advance and best regards
agnes

There is no "update" in the old sense that you pay less because you have an old version and get a newer version for less than it would cost if you didn't have the older version. There is a newer software that works exactly like Lr 6 (except for new features of course) and can make use of a Lr 6 catalog file if you have one.. It is known as Lightroom Classic 12.5, which you can obtain by subscribing to the Adobe Photography Plan, $9.99 US Dollars per month and includes Photoshop at no extra cost. Note: do not confuse this with the Lightroom plan; do not confuse this with the current software called Lightroom, which despite the similar names, operates quite differently in some respects and stores your images in "the cloud". SO: IN SUMMARY, YOU WANT LIGHTROOM CLASSIC and NOT LIGHTROOM
