Lightroom cc does not respond when I save an image back to it from Photoshop

I have Lightroom cc 2015 and Photoshop cc2017.  I import my photos from my camera into Lightroom.  Then from Lightroom I edit them in Photoshop. My problem is when I go to save them in Photoshop back to Lightroo, Lightroom does not respond. I did not have this problem on my other compute. Suggestions

Hi lindseys,

Please reset Lightroom preferences back to default and check if that helps, refer: Preference file and other file locations | Lightroom CC and 6

Also, hit "save" not save as in Photoshop.
