Lightroom Classic - How to revert to an older version

Lightroom version 14.1 is not working. (It converted my catalog and then said it's corrups and can't be fixed. ) I tried reverting back to an older verions, but Lightroom insistes that my catalog be converted and that I update to the latest version. How can I continue to use the older version?

You can access older versions from the CC Desktop app. Three dots menu on the installed app offers the old versions like this (screen capture in German):

However, keep in mind that you can not use the latest catalog that you used with v14, with v13. The major version needs to update the catalog and it is not compatible backwards.

So, you can revert to 14.01 or 14, or then you have to use the copy of the catalog made by LrC before the update to v14, losing the edits since then.

A corrupt catalog does not mean that Lightroom does not work at all.
Have you restored the catalog from the last backup and tried opening it again in LR 14?
