Hello I have mac os Ventura 13.2 installed and now can not open Lightroom Classic... it stopped working a few months ago...
Allit does is the icon bounces... the lightroom classic loading image appears then dissapears as if it has crashed.
All my photography is now inaccessable?
Does anyone know how to fix this problem as it is VERY annoying??
Thanks

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.
Did you see a crash dialog?
Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?
Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Apple’s?

Without a crash report and reading the described behavior, this doesn't' sound like a crash.
I would recommend a clean reinstall.

If you've performed a clean reinstall as suggested. The next step is to reset your preferences
A Preference File will survive a Lightroom uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.
Reset Procedure:
1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.
Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?

If a clean reinstall and a preference reset do not affect the issue there are two more possibilities to test.

Go to your Apple > System Preferences > Security and Privacy, make sure you have provided Lightroom Classic with " Full Disk access ".
See the screenshot. After you make a change reboot your operating system for the settings to take effect.
Then you can try to start Lightroom Classic.

Did you ever try the recommendation by Rikk Flohr to login to your computer with a different account? Perhaps the Admin account.

And, have you tried creating a new catalog? This would be done without first starting LrC in the normal way, Instead (and I might have a keystroke wrong) hold down on the ALT key while double clicking on the LrC startup icon, a request screen should show up offering catalogs to open, AND the option to create a new catalog.

Hello GoldingD - yes I have just done this... did not offer me a new catalog... it is as though the lightroom classic app does not want to open?
