Lightroom Classic keep shutting down my iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch 2017. The program first freezes, then after almost 25 sec it shuts down my iMac. Use Ventura 13.7, have turned of the GPU, still shuts down. Have no external drive connected.
What is wrong? And how do I solve it? Fast.

New LR Classic 14.01 keeps crashing my setup of iMac 27 Intel 5k Retina 2020 running Mac OS 15.01. Now moving catalog to system drive again because I had good experiences with that advice in the past. Automatic reports got filed to Apple and Adobe.

Intel iMac 27 5k Retina 2020 using external drives for LR Classic, v14.0.1, is running on Mac OS Sequoia, v15.1., at my setup super fine again. Not a single crash anymore though really long lasting tasks over days like e.g. generation of new Smart Previews for all images and more. I think, this thread is solved now. Thank you for all of your support and have a nice Sunday!

Thanks for that update -- that will help others for sure. There have been a number of reports (like yours) that Mac OS 15 avoids the problems with Intel Mac AMD 500- and 5000-series graphics processors, but there have been a couple that reported it didn't.
