Lightroom error message

Look in the folder that hold the catalog and look for a file that ends with .lock. Have LR closed and Delete that file.

Look in the FOLDER the Catalog file is stored in. Look for a FILE ending with ​.lock​. Delete the Lock file.

I found a lock file and i deleted it and i still get the same message

It usually happens after the windows update, please refer the below troubleshooting link.

Error: 'Unexpected error opening catalog' occurs in Lightroom after Windows 10 upgrade.
