Hi joelafferty,

Have you migrated your older Lightroom catalog to Lightroom CC version?

Also, you are adding new images from Lightroom CC mobile?

Mohit

Hi Mohit,

yes, when I upgraded my lightroom (surprised to see two versions, kind of out of the blue), I followed the instruction to upgrade my catalogue to the classic CC version.

also, I keep my iOS apps up to date so the LRM is also on CC

Joe

Was you successfully upgraded the older catalog to Lightroom Classic CC?

Also, Please sign-out and sign-in from the Lightroom CC on your mobile device also, check the internet connection on your phone.

You can login to the Lightroom web version and check if you see all the images from Lightroom CC mobile synced to the web version because sometimes you see the error but its already synced the images in the background.

Mohit

Hi Mohit,

  1. yes I successfully upgraded the catalog to classic CC - or at least, it's working OK and no error messages.
  2. I tried singing out of CC mobile and back in - no difference, still stuck on 4%
  3. I tried signing into LR for web and the images seem stuck - it's telling me to open CC on iOS to sync - see screenshot.

help!!

Nope, not updgraded.

it says that i’m only using a small percentage of my allowance (well less than 50% from memory possibly 20%?)

i don’t sync my whole catalog just parts of it.

I’m pahing for enough cloud storage with Dropbox and apple, don’t need another one with Adobe!!

...and this seems to be taking an age to resolve...

do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

no response for 4 days...

since my last reply/message, I've changed my iPhone and have had to re-install LR Mobile CC from scratch (using iCloud backup).

its still stuck - tells me there is 145 pending (3%)... but also, more critically, it cannot download from the desktop / web

also on my iMac it tells me its synching photos with 11.78 of 100GB used - but it is completely stuck.

looks like a bug?

this is now critical as I'm about to recycle my old phone which has some of these unscyned photos on - looks like the iCloud backup only saves settings not the photos themselves (just as well or would be double images)

help!

Hi joe.lafferty,

Sorry for the delayed response from our end. What type of network data are you using on your iPhone? Is it Cellular Or Wifi?

Hi Mohit,

i’ve used both - as this has been going on for a while now...

i’ve also left my phone on charge, with settings not to shut down, over night to try and sync

my ipad says its up to date so teh problem seems to be between the iPhone and decktop (and web as outlines appear on Lr for web but images stuck.

welcome back! I thought I'd lost you Mohit!

OK, sarcasm over... you might be able to guess I'm more than a bit frustrated with this... being going on for weeks - and Adobe was to call me back over 3 days ago...

I'm not sure what you mean by your suggestion.

I have the latest versions installed on my phone, iPad and macOS

iOS version installed 3.0.1 (not 1.0.1?)

macOS version installed 7.0.1

...it is Adobe Lightroom Classic CC I have installed, as I mentioned earlier on in this thread...

any chance of a telephone call to resolve this from support? it's being going on since 23rd October, almost coming up to a month!!

an exasperated Lightroom user...

After a call from Adobe, I foolishly agreed to allow the call to be closed. I waited a week for the call... Now how long before I get another...

It's OVER A MONTH NOW I'VE BEEN UNABLE TO SYNC FROM MY PHONE! I needed to share a web album tonight, and, guess what, it's stuck...

HELLO?

Anyone listening?

well... been out of the office a lot, and back in today to find no response from adobe on this...

VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE

I started this topic 2 months ago and, despite one phone call, which at the time seems to have solved it but actually didn't, I have still had no call back from adobe, despite requesting one.

this problem persists and is creating a lot of extra work on my workflow moving photos about via downloads, rather than seamless sync via LRM to LRCC.

I wonder if anyone is listening...

Could you try the Lr CC mobile version 3.1 which we released to the app store a couple of days ago. We provided a fix which most probably could solve your issue. Let me know if it helps. - Guido/ Lr Mobile QE

Hi Greule,

yep, it now works - it would have been good to hear from Adobe that this was a bug and you were working on it.

would have saved me a lot of time and energy...
