So I'm only having this problem on my desktop! It did it last week so I just switched to my laptop and rebooted my desktop. Now my Laptop is being updated/fixed so now I only have my desktop to work with! I know its not the connection to my computer, because whenever I hook my camera to it, it lets me know that my camera has been connected. What could it be?! Its been doing this for the past 30 minutes! And yes, I am updated to the latest version. Just updated it to see if it would help. Screenshottttt.PNG

Try cycling the camera off and on while it's connected.

If it's urgent you get the files from camera to computer drive, Adobe Bridge has a Get Photos From Camera feature and Photoshop has Import | Images From Device.

Try a card reader.

Or use the File Manager program to copy the files off the cameras memory card to the folder on your drive you want them to end up in then import them into LR using the Add option at the top of the LR import window.

I really do suggest you stop connecting the camera directly to the computer and start using a card reader. Most notebook computers have a SD card slot built in.

Also, if you have videos on your camera card, sometimes that is the problem; if so, move the videos to the computer using your operating system and then remove them from the camera card.
