Lightroom won't open

I cannot get Lightroom Classic to open.  The lock file is open but the app will not open.  There are no warnings or messages showing.  It is trying to open and the computer is running very hard, but nothing happens for a long time and then it opens but the computer still runs very hard.

What are your computer specifications? Do they meet Lightroom Classic's minimum system requirements?

Do you mean the lock file does not exist, or that the lock file does exist? If LrC was closed, it should not exist.
