Liightroom classic fail to start after full new install

Problem Statement: 

  • LrC hangs up after starting. Does not respond. have to close . 
  • ==> impossible to use the program

Next steps done: 

  •  remove Lrc entierly using teh Clouds app.
  • shut down WIN11 
  • restart and insntall again LrC from Adobe cloud. 

Unfortuntaly exactly the same behaviour: LrC loads and is stuck with excact the same screen: Develop module and last edited pictures. will not load.

Conclusion: I am stuck.  very strange indeed. 

Not that I found a security uopdate 2025-11 Security Update (KB5068861) (26200.7171)  isntalled on novembe 12,  and my be the culprit. Has anyone an idea ?

Are you able to go to Help > System info in Lrc?

Hi Per,

was unable to test till now. Unfortunately no, it freeze and shows the develop Module. Onlky way ist to end the task 😞

Please clarify ... does LrC appear on your screen and then freezes shortly after that; or does LrC not even appear when you start it?
