Issue: Losing Exif data when exporting photos from Lightroom CC to Mac Hard Drive as jpegs @ 100%
I am bulk exporting 3000 NEF from NIKON and jpegs from phone. Files from Lightroom library to fresh folder on hard drive (HD Export option).
The exported photos go into their own folders--converted at 100% resolution.
Export seems to STRIP Exif data from all files.
Photos converted to jpeg. These exported photo files show file date creation/modification set to that date of conversation. Fine. But all of the metadata (lens, apperture setting, and most important date time digitized) are lost. Not good: big problem.
As a result, when I then import these photos into Apple photos and Google photos, they show up as fresh files without ANY metadata, and because they have lost the digital capture stamp--they list out of order.
I am confused. Exif info was (I think) included with past exports. Export function without obvious toggle selection to turn on Exif.
Please advise?

Exif and other Metadata is not automatically included during the export process. The user has to choose from the various options available. If you are using Lightroom Classic, see the Metadata section of the Export dialog....use the up/down arrows to reveal the options to choose from.
If you are using Lightroom (there is no app called Lightroom CC), use the Custom Settings option from the Share menu and make sure you enable the "All Metadata" option.

This seems to be an issue when exporting in RAW file to jpeg in bridge as well, workaround is to open the file in photoshop or camera raw and save it as jpeg which is extremely painful when you are trying to export a lot of pictures, were you able to get t it to work in lightroom?

Set Include to All Metadata, and all metadata will be included.
