can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?
it's happened about 5 times usually once or twice while im working in LR. i've been using LR since the first version, so i'm pretty familiar with the program.
the tabs go away on the sides and top and when you click on the arrow to bring them back nothing happens. the only fix is to restart LR.
this is the only glitch in the system and its just recently started.

unfortunately it's not that easy and after using LR for 12 years, I know that shortcut.
as i stated in my email the tabs won't bring them back.
it doesn't matter whether you click them manually or use tab key.
something is happening (not by me) that's causing LR to lock up in this screen.

Hi Owen,
Have you tried restoring Lightroom preferences to the default settings? This sometimes helps when the interface is acting strange.
