LR: Adjustment brush- color option

New Here ,
Jan 30, 2018 Jan 30, 2018

I cannot seem to grasp what the 'Color' Option does when we select it within the adjustment brush. I have tried searching, as I feel this is a basic question, but I cannot find anything that answers my question.

What does this function alter?

I've already checked that thread. It didn't seem to help me unfortunately.

I don't understand what we are altering with this option selection.

For you to understand me better here is an example:

We select the Adjustment Brush--> Select Exposure
Meaning: Exposure is the parameter being adjusted by the brush.
My question: What is being adjusted when we select Color???

I don't think that preset does anything. All of the other presets seem to set the sliders some way or another, but that one doesn't. Good catch. It looks like Adobe put that one in the presets list because Color was a label at the bottom of the sliders, but the preset doesn't set the color swatch to anything. I'd call it a mild bug.
