LR Classic 11.4.1 import problems

Explorer ,
Oct 24, 2019 Oct 24, 2019

LR won't import my files.

When I import a folder to a LR catalog, the import pulls images from a completely different (but similar) folder.

I currently have two folders in the catalog. One is a "working" files folder and one is a "raw" files folder. When I import the folder from the "working" folder, LR imports images from the "raw" folder, completely ignoring the working folder I actually selected. This is happening over and over and I can't get my images imported. And Adobe has no way to contact them about app use. All they offer is prepared support on downloads, installs and account info. Does Adobe even offer help anymore?

Mac 10.14.2

Sorry for the confusion. In my rush to get this solved, I was on the phone with tech support and typing messages into several forums and screwed up my wording.

We got it solved through the Photoshop Family site.

Thank you all for reaching out to help. 🙂

Hi There,

Sorry to hear about the import issue with Lightroom Classic, I believe you are using 8.4.1 and not 11.4.1 would you mind confirming this by going to Help > System Info?

Also, as Marianne has asked could you share a screeshot of the import panel here?

What is the name of the folder you're import the images from? and What name are you seeing in Lightroom?

Regards,
Sahil
