LR Classic freezing

ever since I downloaded the new version, LR crashes freezes.  Any way to fix this? Running on current windows.

Freezing doing what actions in Lightroom Classic? Does the computer need to be re-started?

 

Please provide your system information. Go to Help->System Info and copy and paste the top 50 lines or so, down to the GPU information. We don't need anything after that.

Hello,
any update on when this issue will be fixed? I'm in the middle of fall
sessions, starting holiday sessions and need lightroom to be working as it

There are a couple of things you can try

 

  • Update the GPU driver to the latest version (if your computer does not have the latest version installed)
  • Turn off the use of the graphics processor (Preferences->Performance->Use Graphics Processore)
  • Reset the preference file

Hello,
thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, they did not work. I feel the
problem came from the update. Is there a patch being worked on? Anything
else I can do? I am literally in the middle of editing a client's session
and cannot do anything.
