For how many more years will we have the issue that one cannot switch to other apps, because LR window becomes always on top? Yes, I know that restarting app or "simple" cycling through views using Shift+F solves that temporarily, but how about real solution? And I write "simple", because even with the new 13600K intel CPU and 64 GB RAM LR is still crawling to change these views. But ok with the latter (it's not a bug, but a feature, right?:-): will annoying "Always on top without asking" issue be ever fixed? This is clearly a bug! Which version? All versions since last 5 years probably! On Windows 10.
Thank you.

I can not see any issue on my end.
To be honest, I'm not getting what exactly the issue is that you see, from your description.

I am glad for you - if you don't see it, it is not there, right? 🙂 I can describe it in very specific way: you open LR, do some editing, and at some point you press Alt+Tab to switch to your Spotify app to add that nice song to your favourites (of course, it's not Spotify, but any app you like to switch to), but you can't! Why? Because LR is (what is called since ages) "Always On Top".

OK, now I understand.
However, I still can not reproduce and Alt+Tab always works as expected on my end, no matter in which display mode I am, even in Full Screen.

Sorry, I don't quite understand: Why should you be able to reproduce it? As if all bugs should equally affect all users on all systems...

Because the very first, back-to-basics, fundamental step in bug-fixing is trying to reproduce the problem!
🙄
"Sorry, I don't quite understand"
Evidently.

Hi, Keith. How do you think: how meaningful/helpful is the information that a single user (even expert one) could not reproduce the reported issue/bug? (I won't even comment on the very first reply, which I couldn't help but joke about - sorry, maybe I was a bit harsh and biased here as a software developer myself). Are you (or F. McLion) Adobe representatives/developers?

Also, it is not that LR is always, but that it becomes Always on top for whatever reason - which is anyway undesired, unexpected behaviour.

"I am glad for you - if you don't see it, it is not there, right?"
Do you seriously think that's what he meant?
Jeez...
I don't have the problem you're complaining about either, incidentally. But just for the avoidance of further confusion and snark on your part, that doesn't mean I don't think it's happening to you.

Moved to discussions? Why? It is a bug. And it is known for years (see here, for example: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/community/threads/lightroom-always-on-top.18292/)

So I had the issue as usual yesterday (at first all works, then constantly always on top). Maybe I chose the wrong place to report. There's nothing to discuss here: the issue is not new, reported multiple times, no real solution found here or elsewhere. I will contact support directly later and post the solution (if any) here.
