LR presets - how to show preview in main image

When hovering over LR presets, the small icon at the top of the panel shows the effect of the preset but the main image does not. How do I get the effect to show on the main image? Thanks.

This is switched off by default following feedback, as many customers said they preferred seeing the change only in the Navigator panel and not the main Editor window.

From the Lightroom menu go to:

Edit >> Preferences >> Performance (tab) on Windows

Lightroom >> Preferences >> Performance (tab) on Mac

Put a checkmark in the box “Enable hover preview of presets in loupe”

Actually... I do not have “Enable hover preview of presets in loupe” in Lightroom on the Mac 7.2 release.

That's not in the 7.2 release. It was just introduced as a preference setting in the 7.4 release.

OK got it and yes, I see that with 7.4.
