Lr5 & Lr6

hello,

i purchased Lr5 in 2014. From today i have creative cloud complimentary access.

I worry that when i will install Lr6, my catalogue from Lr5 wont be recognised in Lr6.

What can i do to use the catalogue from Lr5 in Lr6?

And:

My cloud account is currently connected with another email address than the one i purchased now, can this create any problems with installing and using apps-what should I do?

I haven't installed anything yet, because i'm afraid of problems.

Then don't worry about this. Any LR 5 catalog can be opened in LR 6. In LR 6, use the menu command File->Open Catalog and select your LR 5 catalog file.

Photos shared with Lightroom Mobile are indeed connected to the e-mail address used to purchase Lightroom CC. If you install LR 6, you will not have access to LR Mobile, so the e-mail address and Adobe account is irrelevant. Exactly what concerns do you have? Can you be specific?

Thank you so much for quick answers! I appreciate it. I have all the answers. Mobile LR didn't work before, and I dont use it, I find PS express much more suitable for me.

Lightroom 6 will upgrade Lr 5 catalogue. So, if you have installed Lr 6 on your computer and you want to open Lr 5 Lr will ask you if you want to upgrade your Lr 5 catalogue. I have done this with no problems!

What do you mean by creative cloud complimentary access?  Did you install LR6 or LR CC 2015?

In either case, even though you installed the program today, you will have to use the update process to be sure you have the latest version:

In LR menu - Help --> Updates
